As I look back at the time spent on this trip...I'm so grateful for the good companions but also for the crew that planned every day and/or evening so fully. Just packed with so many of the things that Minneapolis offers for the enjoyment and education of it's visitors.. It was just great.

An insider's tour of the city I've lived in for 35+ years was informative and broadening. The program guides, docents and lecturers were all friendly and informative. I posted photos on Facebook. My fellow Road Scholars were great, and I'm happy to have made new friends.

This was a very good program for me! The pace was active, with enough time here and there for a little rest. Wonderful lectures about the MIA, the Guthrie theater, the city of Minneapolis, all followed by visits.

This was a great program. Minneapolis has so much to offer. Beautiful city, friendly people, great museums, theater, restaurants and spectacular views of the Mississippi.

Very good--varied, organized, high quality (with the exception of a couple of restaurants), and fun!

Minneapolis is a GREAT arts scene, and Kathy Fischer is the best group leader I've encountered in 20+ RS programs. The schedule, guest speakers, hotel, and logistics were excellent, and the options for independent exploration were just right (for me). A few restaurant meals were disappointing, but everything else was A+. Would highly recommend this program.

This was a fascinating tour, with just the right amount of history, sight-seeing, lectures and tours. This was my first "Signature City" trip, and I have a new appreciation for the art and vitality of the Minneapolis area. Kathy, the Program Leader, was outstanding! She handled every detail with precision and a smile.

This was a wonderful trip. In just five days, we learned so much about Minneapolis and we were very impressed with all the field trips, the lectures, the accommodations and the meals. Also, the people in our tour were warm and friendly and our tour guide was terrific! A very memorable experience and we highly recommend this Road Scholar trip!

Anne, that was my answer to the "Why Minneapolis" question, too. What a pleasure to spend a week with congenial travel companions in that clean, green, art-loving, amazing city. Our fearless leaders, Kathy and Carol, couldn't have been better. Take this trip!

People asked "why are you going to Minneapolis?" and I replied "because its there and i have not been there before" Now I can tell them what they missed if they have not been there. Wonderful program.

I've attended a fair number of Road Scholar/Exploratas/Elderhostel programs over the years, and would rank this one among the very most enjoyable. I felt it was extremely well planned and executed, and I returned home with a load of pleasant memories, as well as new knowledge gained. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in exploring a truly beautiful and exciting city.

If you've never been to Minneapolis, I urge you to visit on a Road Scholar trip. It's a vibrant city, and the tour I was on there last week was an excellent overview of the architecture, art and music available.

Wonderful program, well-organized, interesting, and exciting. One of the best Road Scholar programs I've attended, if not the best!

The study of Minneapolis was most i formative and stimulating. Our program director was of the same excellent caliber of all of the others I have had with RS. Barbara Meyer did everything to make this an especially memorable experience for us all.

David from Rossford, OH Number of programs attended: 16

The program in Minneapolis is truly worthwhile. If one is at all interested in art, architecture, and the performing arts, this trip should not be missed. The food is pretty good too.
