Program #2049RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

If you enjoy international films, this program is for you. In addition to seeing six films and joining in discussions about them, we had great excursions to Pike Place Market, Seattle Center, where we went up in the Space Needle and visited the Chihuly Glass Museum, and the Chittenden Locks. Our hotel, the Red Lion, was comfortable and centrally located, and we were introduced to some lovely dining experiences that we probably would not have had on our own. If you go to the festival, try to add on an Elderhostel in the San Juan Islands before or afterwards. It makes a wonderful combination.

This program was excellent. We had a wonderful experience. We saw 6 international films. We stayed at a very nice hotel that was very convenient. The program was well thought out. We were able to see local sites such as Pike's Market, the Chuilly glass museum, and there was time to be on your own.

This program, based in downtown Seattle, is a great introduction to the city, as well as a venue for seeing well selected international and independent films that you get to see prior to theatrical distribution or that are worthwhile but that you would otherwise never have the opportunity to see.
