Well run program with something for almost everyone. Railroad enthusiasts will appreciate the different types of trains and others will love the scenery of New England. And an October program gives a bonus of the colorful landscapes.

Great program for railroad buffs and those interested in learning about railroad history.

It was a great program if you like trains. We rode a lot of trains and talked to many who are enthusiastically resurrecting these old trains. We also saw the leaves turning, particularly in New Hampshire.

This program was everything and more than I expected. People were all friendly and compatible and our leader did a very good job of us and the program. Enjoyed!!

All of New England (except Maine) in six easy-riding days in a Mercedes (bus)! October trip, so the leaves were changing beautifully. More information than I ever expected about trains. Strong hint: when you go up the Cog Railway, sit on the left for the view of the tracks, and DO NOT run out of camera battery, as I did.

Mary from Lexington, MA Number of programs attended: 1
Date attended: 09/28/14 - 10/04/14
I thoroughly enjoyed this program. I learned a lot from the other participants, especially the 91 year old man who is so enthusiastic about historic railroads that he built a depot to house his collection of memorabilia. Each railroad trip was unique and interesting
