ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

This program exceeded my expectations in every way. Was a fantastic way to spend a week with my grandson. We got closer and enjoyed being partners in the activities. It was the third intergenerational program I have done with this grandson and was by far his favorite and mine. His enthusiasm was contagious and his older brother was jealous when we got home. I can't recommend this program highly enough for a really fun bonding experience with a grandchild.

What a wonderful experience The Magic Camp was that was held at Wilson Oglebay Lodge. The husband and wife team of Bill Stokes was exemplary in all their presentations and explanations of magic. I felt it was a "once-in-a-lifetime" experience and so did my grandson. It was worth every penny and then some and I love them for all their hard work and wonderful and happy memories they gave me and my grandson.

This was such a fun program. Bill and Charleen Stokes were excellent presenters, friendly, kind, and certainly knew their stuff.I would highly recommend this Intergenerational program to any one looking for a pleasant 5 days. We have been to many Road Scholars a including several Intergenerational ones and recognize an outstanding program.

Bill and Charlene Stokes are fantastic as program providers and program administrators. They have a vast knowledge base and were able to help out with both the kids and the grandparents in attendance. Working with the two of them was a pure delight.

The Magic of Magic was a delightful program. Material was presented in an appropriate manner for the age group and I think any young person interested in Magic would find the week a real pleasure. Oglebay is in a beautiful setting and we enjoyed the amenities offered by the resort.

Gracia from Chapel Hill, NC Number of programs attended: 5

This was the 4th intergenerational trip I've taken with my granddaughter and definitely the best! We loved learning how to do numerous magic tricks - it was so much fun to be "in on the secrets"! The highlight was making and receiving props and instructions to take home and do our own magic shows! We have impressed our families and friends with the tricks we learned. The instructors, Bill Stokes and his wife Charlene, were very friendly, prepared, and professional. Oglebay Resort, where the program was held, had beautiful grounds, as well as plenty to do for all ages. Overall, my granddaughter and I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a fun time while learning some magic as well! - Gracia from Chapel Hill, NC
