My granddaughter was in horse heaven. Not only riding, but plenty other horse related activities. The ranch was beautiful and surrounded by the striking desert. Fun and interesting activities everyday, delicious food, great accommodations and thank goodness, a refreshing pool that was open day and night! The desert is most certainly hot in the summer and mother nature scheduled a heat wave just for us! A wonderful week overall.

What an amazing week we spent with our 12 year old granddaughter at White Stallion Ranch! Russell True and his family are the epitome of excellence in all that they do. They are hands on from morn till night and safety is emphasized at every turn. The horses are beautiful and so well cared for, the food is wonderful and there are so many activities to choose from. My husband and granddaughter loved all of the riding and especially enjoyed the cattle penning. Despite my anxiety, I rode a horse for the very first time in my life! It was great! We found peace and joy in this desert landscape.

This program was outstanding and would be perfect for any grandparent/grandchild who are particularly interested in horses and the West. The program itself is very well organized and the ranch is phenomenal. The riding portion can be as flexible as participants need - I was unable to ride at all (knew this beforehand), but my granddaughter rode at every opportunity and definitely increased her ability and ease on horseback. Some grandparents rode every time, others did occasionally. I did not feel that I lost out on anything in the program even though I couldn't ride as there was lots to see; being around the horses and watching my granddaughter and her new friends ride was more than adequate compensation!

My granddaughter and I loved the horses and loved the daily contact and riding of them. We both increased our knowledge and skill with horses. We loved the whole week.

Fabulous program not to miss! Exceeded my high expectations. Ranch was more than comfortable and felt very welcoming and casual. A very special place with great owners and staff, a program where anyone would be hard-pressed not to have an incredible time. Our usually unemotional teenager was truly distraught to leave so we will have to come back!

My grandchild and I had a really amazing time at the Ranch. It is extremely safe and the staff are super-friendly. The horses are well tended and thoughtfully matched up to both beginners and advanced riders. The food is excellent and a variety of items are offered at every meal. Accommodations are delightfully "southwestern", clean and comfortable.

For a ten year old who has been horse mad practically since birth, this was Paradise! And as her grandmother watched, her own childhood memories with horses came back. White Stallion is run like a well-oiled machine: efficient, staff is beautifully trained (especially the wranglers!)and the coordinator provided a beautifully planned and executed program. Absolutely first rate!!

Perfect program for active kids. Best run guest ranch anywhere!

The program is amazing. You can take a lesson, ride fast or ride slow on trails, learn about and interact with your horse. Beautiful setting, accommodations were superb, food was delicious. The staff including Carol the leader, Russell the ranch owner, and all the wranglers were helpful, friendly and always ready to provide assistance and information. Best program (of 8) that I've attended. My granddaughter who rides at home (English) loved the Western style and was so sad to leave. Try it!
