This program was wonderful. Southern Illinois in the fall is beautiful. Giant City State Park is a beautiful place to spend time. The canoeing and kayaking were for beginners, but even the experienced had a different experience on the Cache River. I highly recommend this program to anyone who enjoys being outsdoors!

I really enjoyed this program, and learned the skills and confidence I need to continue kayaking and canoeing. Our group leaders were truly wonderful, helpful and inspiring, the park area is beautiful and peaceful, and our group was supportive and friendly- a great orientation for me to connect deeper with nature and learn something new.

We had a great time. The area was beautiful and we felt encouraged in improving our skills canoeing and kayaking. We learned a great deal and enjoyed our swamp experience.

It was only due to the invitation by a friend that I decided to go on this trip. I was so glad I did. The experience was terrific. I learned so much, had fun, and met new people who inspired me. The location was beautiful and the leaders were experts in their field. I want to expand on the skills I gained as soon as I can.

Do not let the words swamp turn you off to this trip it was a great surprise to me. Look up the difference for swamp and bog.
