The accommodations are in a beautiful setting, with top notch facilities. Participants will learn about the area and then be able to make a difference by serving in the surrounding community as well as at the facility itself. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The program is interesting and to help in a small way to educate about world hunger was a great feeling. I really enjoyed the people I met and the staff made all feel welcome. One of the activities during the week was to help the staff with educating a class of third graders about the global village and different parts of the globe. I really enjoyed my time with the children and frying up the chapatti bread they made while in the Kenya site. The participants were all very interesting and all shared equally in helping to winterize the village.

Excellent program!! The knowledgeable staff at Shepard's Spring were awesome in their respective fields! I cannot say enough for the everyone involved. The site itself was beautiful and serene. Opened my eyes to world hunger and what we can do to help. I'm going again as soon as I can. Beautiful, beautiful program! Gene Scott, Toledo, Ohio

Our visit to Shepherd's Spring and involvement in the Heifer Global Village project was a wonderful experience, and I would recommend it highly to anyone who is looking for a service project, interspersed with learning.
