EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

This is a great program, however one needs to be in very good physical condition and like challenging trekking excursions to test your limits .Jan is a wonderful and experienced leader with excellant supporting staff. The food is basic, plentiful, with healthy choices served by extraordinary friendly, and helpful CSU students. (Their chicken parmesan was outstanding). The accomodations are small but ample and adequate. The magnificant scenary is breathtaking and memoriable, including seeing wild elk/mule deer, moose, etc. Though one may not have previously trekked at 12,000 feet, if you are in very good physical condition and perhaps arrive a couple of days ahead to acclimate to the high altitude, one could do fine and improve on their realistic goals.
