6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I would highly recommend participation in this program. Just the right amount of activity, learning, leisure and time to meet like minded people. Food tasty and healthy, accommodations were clean and comfortable. Best vacation I have ever taken!

Date attended: 06/22/14 - 06/27/14
The program was at a very scenic location. It was interesting learning about the Great Camps. The boat cruise on the last day was particularly fun, as was the opportunity to kayak/canoe during free time, the campfire on the final night, the musician and hiking. We really enjoyed the meals....great vegetarian options. As always, it was fun meeting other participants...nice and interesting people. Black flies bothered us (springtime), but I understand that's not a problem the rest of the year.

I was thoroughly happy with my time at the Great Camps. I'm so glad I took part. I learned more than I expected to.

Barbara from Brookdale, CA Number of programs attended: 3
Date attended: 09/29/13 - 10/04/13
This was the best, most relaxing vacation I have ever had! I truly relaxed, for the first time in years! The gorgeous, private setting added to the warm hospitality I experienced. All staff had an attitude of "what can I do to make your stay more enjoyable?" And, the food was scrumptious! I ate at their 5* dining room daily and loved every menu item!

Jan from Essex Jct, VT Number of programs attended: 3

Everyone should visit great Camp Sagamore, especially at peak foliage. Learning more about the Gilded Age, the Vanderbilts, and the Adirondack Park, as well as walking, canoeing, and the tour boat trip, all made for a delightful week!

Alexander from Rochester, NY Number of programs attended: 2

If you miss this program, you will miss a wonderful experience. Do it.
