Just returned from an interesting, informative and enjoyable week at Cape May. The participants were all enthusiastic and fun. I learned a lot about Victorian times. Only downside was being inside for the lectures when it was so gorgeous outside, but that's life (wasn't a problem the day it rained!) Really really enjoyed Rich's lectures on music, he made the subject come alive for me. All speakers were excellent, and enjoyed the fact that most used the power point to the best advantage, showing pictures while they talked instead of simply reading off the projected image. On the whole I would recommend this to anyone. Great value for the money.

Being transported back to the Victorian era and meeting people of that time is so intriguing. These leaders, in the costumes of the era, made you think you were have a conversation in their home. Outstanding experience.

We were disappointed in the sub-standard food but it improved as the days went on. Enjoyed meeting new people, Bob and Mary were super, and Cape May is a lovely walking town. Not one of our best Road Scholars programs.

A fun and factual overview of Victorian America from the Cape May perspective. I found it an entertaining and informative interlude from my day to day life. A very pleasant experience that I would recommend to others.

This Cape May program was a wonderful trip into the victorian era. I enjoyed staying at the Inn Of Cape May as it a wonderful step into the past. The food was superb, the programs enlightening and the participants in our group where all so friendly and fun to be with. The play was hilarious, the story tellers enjoyable and very knowledgeable and the trolley trips where so much fun. This was a great vacation and I learned so much in a very enjoyable setting. I would do it again if I could.

I found the Road Scholar program "Experience Victorian Cape May: The Nation's First Seashore Resort" interesting and informative. It filled a facet of American History that I had not encountered previously. The seaside location, the picturesque architecture and the pleasant company of the participants and the instructors made this a peak experience.

Just returned from "resorting" to Cape May with a wonderful group. The reenactors truly made the history come alive. The tour through the Physick Estate along with the Tea Luncheon and the Temperance debate were the highlights for me. The historic Cape May Inn was unique and the food was top quality. I enjoyed the first floor balcony overlooking the ocean in the evening after class. I highly recommend this trip if you're a student of history interested in this time period. There were plenty of eye opening facts and light, laughable moments. Thank goodness for MAC, the local center for the Arts that saved character and historical sites of this wonderful seaside oasis.
