EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Great trip and a wonderful way to catch the highlights of the Pacific Northwest. Note: Be prepared to handle all you bring with you while travelling aboard the American Ferries. Plan for a lot of walking, not just 2 miles. Wonderful Linda Wanless was our group leader, could not ask for better. Excellent travelling companions to share the trip with, add to the specialness. Too many wonderful moments & experiences to list. Joke was "when do the Orcas show up? Small window of opportunity, but we were blessed anyway. What a thrill. Do NOT miss the Chihuly Garden & Glass - what amazing work. One of the top 5 trips of my life

I enjoyed everything about this program, from the first class organization to our instructors and guides, but especially our group leader, Linda Wanless, who was always so pleasant and patient with us.

The highlight of this wonderful trip was: Pod of orcas passing close by when we were on San Juan island. No guarantee we would see them, but what a spectacle; and you could hear them blowing too. This trip was great for visiting gardens, museums, variety of cities, getting sense of the differences and similarities of Pacific NW places and history of pioneers and first nations. My pedometer often calculated 5 miles in a day, taking in all the sights with walks. Linda is a fun, well organized trip leader and the other guides were good too.

I enjoyed this program very much. Everyday was different. I think anyone would enjoy it. We had a great group of fellow travelers. Everyone was on time and heard no complaints from anyone. We had a great leader who kept us all where we needed to be whether on the train, bus,or ferry.
