We recently completed the Multi-Sport Adventure in Acadia, Maine program. This program provides an opportunity to see the breadth of the park and all the key attractions. The trip was an excellent week of exercise in a beautiful setting. We had an abundance of activity each day and were tired in the evening, but did not feel overwhelmed. The pacing for kayaking, biking and hiking was appropriate with clear introductions to the kayaks and bikes and time to become acquainted with them. The scenery was spectacular throughout each day as we paddled around bays and islands, biked the quiet carriage roads and hiked the mountains and beach. Sarah, the leader, was cordial and pleasant while being direct with guidance and information. Glenn, who oversees this program, met with us daily and shared a wealth of information about the history and geography of the island as well as interspersing bits of philosophy. All the individuals who met with us were exceptional. The accommodations and food were appropriate for the modest cost of the trip. The members of our group were concerned with the welfare of all other guests and were enjoyable companions. I have recommended this trip to all my friends who are interested in active travel in a beautiful location. This is a trip we would take again.

This was an exciting, vigorous program. We loved being in Maine. The setting is spectacular. We really liked the variety of activities. This program is at the upper level of a 5 rating. We were noticably tired at the end of each day. The accommodations were definitely not luxurious but were adequate. The location of the motel was great. More luxurious motels in this great location would have been much more expensive. The program provider Glenn and the program coordinator Sarah were terrific-- always gracious, cheerful, and responsive to questions and requests. I would recommend this program to anyone who is physically fit and able to be very active, biking on paths with noticeble hills and kayaking into the wind. There were some participants who tired on the first day of kayaking, and the coordinators arranged for alternate activities (hiking or biking) on the second day of kayaking.
