With Nan’s knowledge and enthusiasm coupled with Linda’s organisational skills this is a programme that all birders would enjoy. The programme gives the opportunity to view and identify birds in a variety of natural habitats.

The Birding Enchilada is an excellent trip. It exceeded my expectations. The educational programs were terrific. We experienced all sorts of terrains, shore, woodland, agricultural, and saw many new birds. Try it, you'll like it.

This was a GREAT program. The leaders were wonderful - very knowledgeable, concerned that everyone saw every bird, site selection was on target. For those of us not familiar with birds of south Texas this is THE trip. Course was well planned and there could not have been better instructors.

This is a wonderful program! We had a great time learning about birds, seeing "new to us" species and the environments in which they live in or migrate to. Plus we visited Texas and learned some history about Texas, another state in this wonderful country of ours!

This trip was a good introduction to South Texas birds. We were especially eager to see the Tropical Parula, and our guide, Tom Langsheid, made sure everyone got a good look while it was singing. We also got up close to several whooping cranes on the boat with Capt. Tom, who is himself a good birder. Several folks got "lifers" on the trip, thanks to the leaders making sure we all got good looks.
