Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I was disappointed in the planning and execution of the details of this program. Although I learned a lot, the small room in which we were confined was uncomfortable and our time in it was long. Speakers were knowledgeable and museums interesting. If this had been my first experience with Road Scholar, I would give very serious thought about trying a second program.

An excellent overall travel experience with top notch speakers and tour coordinator. Good use of time and balance between time on our immaculate private bus and in our lectures. Restaurant experiences very well coordinated. We felt at ease as a same sex couple. We have traveled extensively on our own but will come back to Road Scholar for special topics.

We throughly enjoyed this program. Our speakers were excellent and Bernie, our coordinator, very pleasant and helpful. We scratched the surface of the spy game and this whetted our appetite for more. We had a small group of 20 and this allowed us interact with everyone. With large groups this isn't always possible so that was a plus.

Our hotel accomadations were very good and the food at the hotel excellent. The two museums we went to were on the same day. There was lots of standing and very few areas to sit, something to be aware of. I think if you enjoy spy stories your going to enjoy this trip.
