I chose this program because of its location at Mt. Saint Mary's College on the Hudson River, which gave me an opportunity to explore the lower and mid Hudson River Valley. Photos of the beautiful scenery I saw is on my blog at www.ExpeditionsByTricia.blogspot.com/

A very informative program with a great group leader. Would do a program with him again in a heartbeat. FDR and Eleanor were so influential in American politics that everyone needs to know more about them. This program fulfils that need.

The PBS program, The Roosevelts by Ken Burns, was the impetus for selecting this Road Scholar program. What an interesting week learning more about those amazing leaders, Franklin and Eleanor, in an educational-packed program filled with interesting tours of historical sites and excellent lecturers. My appreciation for the Roosevelts is even stronger now.

If you are interested in Franklin D. Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt then this program is for you. The field trips you will take will help you really know Franklin and Eleanor. The expert instructors will add to your learning experience. There was a delightful boat trip on the Hudson River. Through a film you will also learn about the Hudson River and it's Painters. I stayed at Mount St. Mary College which offered safe accomodations good food and a fantastic view from my room of the Hudson River. I highly recommend this program.
