"Signature City New York" is a fun, well-organized and well-paced program. The coordinator is excellent and has dealt with Road Scholar trips for many years. The speakers were well-qualified and interesting. I hadn't been to New York for 25 years and the program helped me get re-acquainted with the city. Of special note, I liked learning how the subway system works as it gave us the city on a silver platter.

I was in New York for five days. Each day was so full that it felt like I was there two weeks! The pacing was excellent and I came home energized and excited about where my next adventure will take me with Road Scholars!

Great trip...great values for all that we saw (I think we saw it all of NY); speakers were very knowledgeable and friendly as were the directors. Accommodations the best. Thanks!

This was my first trip to New York City. The experience was excellent. The location of the New Yorker Hotel close to Penn Station made our arrival by train easy. The hotel staff made coming in a day early easy. The Road Scholar program staff under the excellent day-to-day guidance of Ray kept the program moving, made it educational and enlightening. Although it would be nice to take another Road Scholar tour of New York, we learned enough on this trip that we could go anywhere in the City without complication. We know where museums and theaters are as well as the various other districts of Manhattan. I would recommend this tour to anyone with a desire to learn about New York City. Because of this trip, I'll get more out of television shows and movies about NYC.

Our trip to New York Introduction to New York was outstanding, and one of the best Road Scholar trips I have taken. We saw all the things I always wanted to see. Please consider this for your next trip. Audrey Kidd

Top notch in every way. An excellent overview of the Big Apple. If you have never been, go. If you have been but it was years ago, NYC is not what it used to be, in a good way. You are gonna like it and feel comfortable and safe everywhere you go.

When they say there is a lot of walking and stair climbing (almost all the stairs are when using the subway), believe them.

You can stay busy all day every day, or opt out of the after dinner activities if you need down time or want to branch out on your own.

The staff, Ray and Molly, did a great job.

Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in the New York City experience. I kept a diary of our activities and now that I am home and reading it, I can vividly recall everything! I loved it both at the time of participation and still in remembrance.
