Road Scholar
Program #9766RJ
5 Days | 4 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

This program was enhanced by the pre-show lectures by Donna Granata & Sharbie, including a brief, back stage visit (1st time it was allowed only because it was unusually quiet). We 'oohhed' and 'ahhed' over the discovery of the time, efforts & details required to create such an amazing show. We were delighted by the bonus full moon and clouds hovering the stage. Marge Kinney's Laguna Beach walking tour & luncheon with artists at Art-A-Fair and the San Juan Capistrano docent led visit were highlights and lots of fun (just wish we had 15 minutes for the mission gift shop). Another wonderful, 'welcoming',friendly and well-travelled Road Scholar group that I've had the pleasure to meet & enjoy another 'life long learning' experience.

"The Pageant of the Masters" was my second Road Scholar trip. My first six months ago was labeled "easy" and I got figgity with so much sitting through lectures. This was labeled "moderate" and I was worried that my bad knee would not let me keep up, but the actual walking and standing was slow paced enough and broken up, so I was able to do it all without having to quit part way.
