6 Days | 5 Nights
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I agree wholeheartedly with Loretta. It was lots of fun, the location beautiful and hotel very nice. I do wish, though, that they had sent out the email list they had promised and also information on the video that was supposed to be posted on Youtube.

If you enjoy choral singing and can read music.......the Fred Waring Choral Workshop at the Shawnee Inn on the Delaware is the place for you! We had a fabulous week of sunny weather--and could almost watch surrounding trees blossom into their fall colors. Our energetic director kept us focused on the music--from familiar Waring arrangements to a very challenging medley from the Broadway show, Jekyll & Hyde. The week culminated in a concert.

When I look at the various programs offered, I wish that the travel directions also included train travel. I do not like to fly, and try to take trips by train. This still gives me the opportunity to travel to various parts of NE, NY, VT, and PA. But, some trips to VT which I would have loved to take assume that everyone is either flying or driving. For example, I would loved to have gone to the program that offered a SCrabble adventure in VT. But how to get there? I don't know, as information on trains and then possible bus connections was not available. I hope this can be changed in the future.
