This watercolor class is perfect for any level of watercolor artist. The instructor for the class is phenomenal and there is plenty of time to improve your watercolor expertise as well as engage in other educational opportunities.

Sandy from Alexandria,VA The watercolor workshop was terrific!! I was a beginner and was a particularly impressed with the teacher, Patricia A Griffin, a professional artist. She was excellent! Daily she spent time with each student, who varied in ability, and provided helpful guidance. The week was packed full of fun, painting, fellowship, kayaking down the Delaware River, lectures, excellent food and accommodations, golf cart tours, astrology, and much more. I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone. The week was well organized and the staff was very attentive to the participants. Special mention to Cindy, our Road Scholar hostess, and Scott and Steve.

What a glorious week of sun, fun, food, friendship and -oh yeah- PAINTING! The accommodations were perfect. The staff at the hotel tripped over themselves in kindness as did Cindy our Roads Scholar hostess. Scott and Steve were fun, energetic and supportive- always smiling. Now to the main focus- painting- Our instructor Patricia Griffin was so much fun. She has a lively personality with humor and talent. She instructed to include everyone from experienced painters to the absolute beginner - offering one on one instruction and advice. She encouraged us to set goals and develop our OWN style- not just adopt her style. She was wonderful to work with in a relaxed, joyful atmosphere. If you are considering this course- I say DO IT!! You will love it!!!! PS there were evening camp fires with s'mores, tours of the grounds in golf carts, hikes, a snack bar, pool, hot tub, a concert in the lobby, cookies an your turned down bed and ... so much more!

Nice pacing, the instructor Patricia Griffin presented a challenging program, yet personalized it to each individual's ability. Particularly interesting was the visit to her own studio and to learn more about her life work, and how it works.
