EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

This very active week was filled with learning experiences in a beautiful setting. My grandchild particularly liked bringing home the many works of art created at the various sites we visited. The Glass Museum in Corning was spectacular and the folks at the 18th century village did a great job with the kids.

I felt this was a wonderful educational program for both adults and grandchildren. The pace was just right, and slight changes were made in the schedule to accommodate the very hot weather we experienced. There was little free time for the children to eliminate the possibility of their getting into trouble. The daily swimming allowed the children exercise and a chance to get to know each other. The leaders were knowledgable and worked well with the children. It was my second time attending this program each with different grandchildren and will wait until another is old enough so I can enjoy it a third time!

This was a very structured, focused, and organized program with a good balance between indoor and outdoor activities. The separate parts of the program were very varied with a nice balance between active and less active events. Our two granddaughters, ages 8 and 10, had a great time and learned many new and interesting things about life in the 1800's, about glass making and early aviation. They particularly enjoyed the hands-on activities at the museums and the Benjamin Patterson Inn. The accomadations were fine and the meals were nutritious and more than adequate. Both girls gave the meals an A which is really saying something.
We all enjoyed the pool and the girls were very proud that they were able to master the climbing tower. The instructors made every effort to allow each child to succeed at this event.
In a nutshell we were all happy with the experience.
