See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

My 12 year old grandson and I had a fantastic time together. His goal was to work on his horsemanship badge for Boy Scouts and to lope for the first time. He accomplished this and so much more. Catching bull frogs and racing them, fishing, playing chess and checkers with new friends...all was great. The 1 1/2 days of rain that the area needed sooo much didn't slow us down one bit!

If you are a grand and plan to ride, either get some specific exercises you will need OR bring your best two friends--Motrin and Ben Gay.

Therese from Danville, CA Number of programs attended: 14

Grandparents don't hesitate, this is a great experience and don't worry if you can't ride the experienced wranglers will really help you learn at your own pace.

Greenhorn Creek Guest Ranch was the perfect setting for a program geared to bring out the adventure in both kids and grands! Trish & Ralph could not have been more forthcoming in their focus on riding skill development, focused on individual levels, and their attention to delivering programs that thrilled us all -- from the line dancing and karaoke to bull frog races in the evenings to the trail rides guided and pond stocked for fishing, was an added plus during free time.

Lynn from Carlsbad, CA Number of programs attended: 3
Date attended: 07/28/13 - 08/01/13
This was one of those "making memories" trips! If you enjoy horses and riding the trails, or just want to let kids enjoy the out doors in a beautiful setting, do not miss this one.

Gillian from Dallas, TX Number of programs attended: 3
Date attended: 07/28/13 - 08/01/13
My 9-year old granddaughter told me, "I love this place. I never want to leave." She was a very novice rider and gained lots of confidence during the trip. The riding instruction was top notch. And there was so much else to do at the resort - fishing, petting zoo, cowboy softball, karaoke, line dancing....never a dull moment. Highly recommend.
