Dear Jim We had the pleasure of the bird watching trip on the River Dolphin 11/6-7/14. You caught it on film. Thank you for your outstanding photography and artistic presentation to allow us to make our tour together again and again. We counted 22 turtles on our first day. We saw the juvenile night herons that think they are Bitterns. We saw a couple bitterns at the Cosumnes River Preserve on our last day. The Sand Hill cranes were the stars of the show. Thanks again for sharing.

I have lived in California all my life, but this is a part of the state that was hidden from me. It's like stepping back in time to 1950. Such a different perspective from the water! Beautiful! The sand hill crane experience was inspiring.

Learn water politics in California by experiencing the source of much of our California water first hand on a superb delta birding and educational trip on a boat and of course see the Sandhill Cranesand thoughsands of other birds coming and going over the delta.
