EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

THis program included a greater diversity of topics than any other we have taken. Each day covered a new topic. The most memorable day was our visit to the D-Day Memorial in Bedford VA. Two men in our group had served in WWII - one of them participated in the D-Day landing. He talked with us about that day ... his wife cried as she said that in 67 years he had never talked about his service before. Definitely a program to be included in your list.

This program should be rated as at least a level 3. The topics presented were very interesting and informative. Excellent instruction. Location was pleasant. Staff was friendly. Adherence to the schedule was poor. The sessions all ran over scheduled time and trip departures were moved up, making meals and time for personal necessities stressed and rushed for people with mobility concerns. One trip involved car pooling which was not mentioned in the program description. Accommodations were convenient, but not comfortable for older adults. More information on personal items, such as soap or extra pillows, to bring with you would be useful.
