This ranks at the top of the list of Road Scholar programs I've completed. The cabin at Camp du Nord was modern, comfortable and right on the shore of Burntside Lake. Great food was served in the beautiful dining hall. I enjoyed the cross country skiing on the groomed trails that are throughout the YMCA camp. The snow conditions were just right for the snowshoeing and cross country skiing. The dog sledding was enjoyable, although I liked being a "driver" rather than the passenger. Don't forget to use the brake on your dogsled! Really great group of winter enthusiasts on this trip, led by our resourceful leader Jackie. Highly recommended if you're up to a "moderately challenging" adventure.

The program was outstanding. I agree with Susan's comments 100% and would like to add that our fellow participants greatly contributed to the fun. The trip fulfilled my every expectation.

This program was better then I imagined. The cabins with heated floors and gas fireplace were very nice. The food was delicious. Jackie, our leader, was so patience and great at showing us about skiing and snow shoeing. The whole staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the dog sledding. This was one of the best trips I have done.
