Very informative and enriching. Helps make colonial times come alive. Definitely affirms that we need to appreciate our current easy plush lifestyle!

This was an absolutely amazing program! I had fallen in love with Colonial Williamsburg when I attended a teacher institute in the summer of 2006 so I could hardly wait for my husband and I to retire so we could return together. We attended the week after Thanksgiving and stayed on at the hotel for Grand Illuminations the next weekend. The program was beautifully planned! We had a walking tour, a presentation of Christmas decorations of Colonial Williamsburg and another called "Big Wigs, Old Goats and Loose Women" which was a fascinating, humorous, interactive program by a costumed interpreter. We ate in historic taverns and even attended a dance! The accomodations were modern and comfortable but within walking distance of the historic district. My husband and I felt like we had been transported back in time! I would highly recommend this program to all!
