6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.

ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

We always wanted to go to see baseball spring training games. The Road Scholar tour was great and met our expectations. The hotel accommodations are very good and in a good location. The speakers were good and we really enjoyed seeing the games. I would recommend this trip to others who are thinking about a baseball spring training trip.

I love baseball and getting to see my team (O's) in spring training was great...The leader - speakers - transportation - meals - hotel and seats at the games were all great. With more interaction with the players and more games would have made the the week even better.

This was my second Road Scholar trip. Excellent coordinator, group leader and hostess (Lynne, Judy and Betty). Speakers were all knowledgeable and entertaining. I especially enjoyed Mike Hawn, the umpire, Thomas Niedenfuer, the pitcher and Rinku Singh, "The Million Dollar Arm". Chuck Sidlow from The Ringling Foundation was a surprising treat. The stadiums and 3 games were great fun. How lovely to be bused and not worry about parking, tickets, etc.! Fellow baseball lovers were delightful fellow travelers.

A wonderful opportunity for baseball fans. Provide email addresses for attendees so that we might communicate after the program ends.

This is my second time there, and it was great. First, and foremost, Peg is absolutely outstanding in her handling of we old and crotchey persons. As to the speakers, all were good, but the player and the ump were great. The young man who was recruited from the Pirats was above outstanding - and my complements to his recruiter. Overall, a great show.

The Spring Training Program provides an experience that will please everyone from the die-hard baseball aficionado to the casual fan who simply wants to know more about the game.

Baseball spring training is a fun Road Scholar program. Listening to umpires, retired players, coaches, and scouts gave us a perspective and understanding of the game, positions, and strategies. Attending 4 games was great!
