This program is perfect if you want to learn more about bridge conventions and cues or if you are curious about duplicate bridge. The location is beautiful and the hotel is very quiet and comfortable.

I would highly recommend this program of advancing bridge to those whose really desire to work on and learn advancing bridge. The instructor Craig Hemphill is very passionate and good instructor of the lessons and Linda Arthur is sweet and very organized and helpful as a facilitator. It is an excellent program for advancing bridge players

I can only speak in superlatives about Linda, Craig and the hotel accommodations. As a retired high school math teacher and intermediate bridge player, I say Craig knows how to teach. Since the course, I have used many things that Craig taught us. He was very patient and helpful with questions. Linda tried very hard to take care of all our needs and questions. With that said, the food at the hotel was unacceptable. I would not want to go to that place again. A mostly satisfied customer, Pearl. Say Hi to Craig and Linda.

Bridge on Jekyll Island, Feb 3 to 8, 2013 From Bernard Littman I felt that Craig's instructions were excellent. The level of the course was appropriate for intermediate. There were over one hundred hands in three days of duplicate tournaments; Craig provided a discussion for every one of them.

The facility was very nice. The Facilitator did a good job. The food was good. Jekyll Island was an interesting place to visit. Craig Hemphill should not be hired as the instructor again. He is incapable of teaching without going off on tangents, self-aggrandizing, going too fast, and not teaching on the level advertised. By his own admission, he is obsessed with bridge. He is probably a nice guy, but not a good teacher. We were incredibly disappointed with his instruction. Martha Patrick
