See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

It was a very congenial group of 11 Road Scholar participants. The young leaders from the Denali Education Center were energetic and enthusiastic. The professional photographer instructor Kent Miller was highly skilled, had a love and knowledge of Denali, and was dedicated to his students. I learned a lot about using my camera from the fantastic instructor that I never would have learned from a book. It was quite cold and rainy most days, but weather never stopped any of us from thoroughly enjoying and photographing during the daily field trips. http://denaliphoto.wordpress.com/ Go to the above web address to see some of the photos from the August 26-September 1, 2012, Road Scholar trip "Photographer's Paradise: Denali National Park in Fall Foliage." The instructor Kent Miller created a web page to which members can add their photos.

It would be hard to overrate this program. The scenery was beautiful, the instruction was informative and enjoyable and the food was outstanding. The participants were fun and helpful as well, and we got to see lots of wildlife! I would do it again and I highly recommend it! beth brown

This trip is a great value at the Denali Education Center - we had our own chefs who made wonderful, healthy food. See photos at http://denaliphoto.wordpress.com/susan-merk/

This program was beneficial to photographers who wanted to improve their knowledge and skills. The time of year was perfect for gorgeous fall colors, and the rustic accommodations were perfect for the Denali National Park atmosphere. The teacher was superb and we all learned a lot about photography and about ourselves.
