This was such a unique experience! A wonderful one. I am agreeing with everything my fellow participants have already said. Fallingwater should be on everyone's Bucket List--that's for sure.

For any Frank Lloyd Wright devotee, like myself, this is a must do/see. The Polymath Park tour was a good place to start with three of the simplest Usionian designs, Kentuck Knob is an excellent example of a more expansive home and everyone's bucket list should include Fallingwater, which is beyond almost anything else in home design anywhere. Our tour of it in small groups, on a day when it was closed to the general public was probably the best house tour I've ever experienced, which is saying a lot, I've been on countless architectural tours nationwide.

I give it 10 Stars!!Superb. I have had a history of interest in the arts, design and architecture. The Fallingwater and nearby Wright designed and inspired homes did not disappoint. Private tours of all 5 homes was the way to go. The guides were excellent/knowledgeable. The accommodations were well suited to the "living with nature" motto of Wright. The principles of Asian aesthetics focus on water, rock and trees: both the historic homes & our housing embodied this philosophy. I have been on 5 Road Scholar tours: this was my favorite. Great food, great participants;excellent value. Hated to say goodbye!!!

This was a fascinating and informative program. Every instructor knew their subject and were able to answer any and all questions. The program is a must to anyone interested in architecture or Frank Lloyd Wright. The enjoyment was added to by a great fellow roaders.

I found this program to exceed my expectations. The room accommodations were good. The food was great. The other participants shared the same interests as I did, and were very welcoming. The tours, the lectures, and the guides were knowledgeable and professional. I am thinking of doing this program again because I enjoyed it so much.

If you want to see these homes with the best guides and the most thorough advance knowledge of how to appreciate them, you can't beat this trip. We got the "deluxe" tour of Falling Water--2 hours in small groups on a day when it is normally closed to the public.

Kathryn from Carlsbad, CA Number of programs attended: 1
Date attended: 04/14/13 - 04/18/13
Informative, interesting lectures and wonderful, special tours made our visits to Frank Lloyd Wright and other homes very enjoyable. The special tour of Fallingwater was magical. We were able to take photos inside and outside the home on an afternoon when our group tour was the only one there. Western Pennsylvania countryside is gorgeous as well. This tour is an all-around delight!

Helen from Columbus, OH Number of programs attended: 15

I would consider the Frank Lloyd Wright Road Scholar program in our top five programs. It more than met my expectations! I could not have asked for better planning or leadership.
