Wow! What a great trip. Saw up close all the big 5, lions, elephants, leopards, cape buffalo, and rhinos. We also saw a lot of other animals. I think we observed most of the diurnal animals that live there. Our guide, John, and our drivers where pros at getting use close to the animals and explained a lot about them. Also John was very knowledgeable about the people, government and history of Kenya. I left Kenya with a completely different understanding of this country. All of the accommodations were first class and the food very good and healthy. Everybody in our group ate the fresh vegetables and fruits, which are washed in bottled water, with no ill effects. If you think traveling to Kenya is unsafe you are wrong. I felt saver there than traveling to some big cities here. If you have ever thought about going on an African picture safari you can’t do better than this one. Leo S. Chariton, IA

Our Group Leader, John Njiriri, took us on an amazing journey. We were lucky to have him as our guide. The Kenyan people are warm and welcoming. At no time was there a concern for our safety, and we would encourage others not to pass up the opportunity to visit Kenya. It truly was the trip of a lifetime. John and Dottie S., Mashpee, MA

Loved every minute, the guide was wonderful, we had physical handicaps which were no problem and we were assisted in every way possible. The beauty of Kenya and the animals took my breath away, would repeat it again, More easy programs are needed for those of us who want to travel but need a slower easier pace. You will never regret going on this special journey.

At Your Pace: The Wild Beauty of Kenya was fabulous beyond expectations. I want to encourage people to travel to Kenya. Never did I feel unsafe or threatened while there. This included time in Nairobi, several internal flights, and nine safaris in three different national parks. Security was very high and none of the recent incidents were near the places we visited. The Kenyan people are very warm, genuinely welcoming, and very proud of their country. I am not an “animal person” (an art museum in Paris is more my interest), but the animal viewing was indeed breathtaking- just feet from a pride of lions, surrounded by a herd of elephants, miles of zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, antelopes, and, oh, the fabulous birds. This Road Scholar trip was one of perhaps my top two trips in over 50 years of international travel. Contact me joycelawyer@verizon.net if you would like to learn more about this trip.
