ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

The Cuba visit was perfect in almost every way. The two trip leaders were knowledgeable and enormously helpful and the three lectures added a great deal to our understanding.

If you want to visit and see a not yet Americanized country, then go to Cuba. You don't get all the comforts of home but it is really worth the effort.

The People to People trip to Cuba in mid_May 2015 was highly informative, timely and current on US-Cuban relations, and gave great insights to the experiences of the Cuban people over the last 50 years. John

We signed up for the Cuba trip not really knowing much about Road Scholar. As we received information we became very excited about the trip. Now, we look back, our expectations were far exceeded. We learned so much and had many opportunities to talk with local Cubans. The lectures were excellent and the museums and guides enlightened our understanding of Cuba and Cuban people. Road Scholar anticipated many needs and were always available and supportive. We highly recommend the Cuba trip and Road Scholar.

This program opened up a part of the world to me that I didn't know existed. It provides food for thought about socialism and capitalism; about the history of Cuba and Cuban-American relations; it allows face to face interactions with people in a third world economy sustaining first world culture.

I loved every minute of my trip to Cuba. Liban Diaz was a wonderful, intelligent, generous guide. He was knowledgeable and sincere. Maria Elena Valdes was a fabulous group leader, generous of spirit and very conscientious. I met lovely people and look forward to a future visit.

I just returned from one of Road Scholar's trips to Cuba, which I had chosen even before the recent developments in relations between Cuba and the U.S. I would find it very difficult to find fault with the organization or the execution of the program. The Cuban leaders were exceptional, though quite different from each other in several ways; of course, that made it even more interesting. Thinking about going to Cuba? Stop thinking, and GO.

Marilyn from Minneapolis, MN Number of programs attended: 1
