I attended the 10/1/2015 program. It was a wonderful experience and exceeded my expectations. The hands on cooking opportunities were well done but it was the field trips to cheese making, olive oil and wine production that really made the trip. The group leader, Cristina, was wonderful and tireless in working out all the details. Hope there will be a level 2 program soon!

Eating and drinking my way through Lucca and the surrounding areas was fantastic! The guides were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and made the trip a much better experience that I expected. Money well spent!

The excursions in Tuscany were interesting and informative. Lunch sites were ‘out of the ordinary’, providing us with experiences that the average tourist would not have an opportunity in which to partake.

I took the Cooking In Tuscany tour in May 2014. It is a delight! The meals are fantastic. The cooking school is great fun. And the side trips are very interesting. Italy is a beautiful place and the Italians are wonderfully welcoming. The only problem is having to leave and go home.

I would recommend this program to anyone who loves to cook. I went by myself and the group was welcoming and receptive. The cooking instruction and the facilities were excellent! The field trip were interesting and included experiences we would never have had without our guide. I hope Road Scholar offers a level 2 of this program. I would go again.

This was a fantastic trip. I chopped, stirred, mixed, and cooked wonderful foods. Then we enjoyed them for dinner. We tasted more regional specialties on the field trips. I recommend this trip!

Cooking in Tuscany was one of the best vacation I have had in a long time. I hope in the future RoadScholar can have a level 2 series, because this experience is something I will value and never forget.

This is a wonderful program. The description doesn't even come close to the exceptional experiences we had on this trip. The cooking classes were great...we made 4 courses at each session, with the chef giving demonstrations as we began to prepare each course. We were taken to many places we would never have seen on a regular trip to this area of Tuscany. The leader of the trip was knowledgable , warm, funny , patient and helpful. This was one of the best trips I've been on. Would highly recommend it.
