This was one of my favorite programs and I have taken many. From arrival at Calgary airport and by shuttle though the beautiful scenery of Alberta's grasslands and into the Rocky Mountains was a great trip in itself. Waterton Wildflower Festival has many well-organized activities and you don't have to be a great photographer or hiker. There are indoor activities as well and it is your choice. Waterton is small, very friendly and a great escape for this city-dweller.

I had a wonderful time and saw many flowers and new ones everyday. The organizers, assistants, and hike leaders were all good. Waterton National park is a wonderful place and compact enough to see most of it during the week. Each participant gets to choose the hikes and programs that interest him or her. The town of Waterton is walkable and everyone was friendly.

I have been sharing my wonderful Waterton experience with others and encouraging them to do the program if it befits them.

Beautiful scenery and wildflowers in a more remote corner of the province. Happy community nestled in the Rockies.Rated higher than Jasper and Banff. Excellent reference material provided. Will probably be a "Rhodes" scholar again.

Jack from Portland, OR Number of programs attended: 12
Date attended: 06/22/14 - 06/27/14
Program is great for those who want to just look, see, and smell, as well as those interested in photography. The variety of learning opportunities offered at the Festival makes it easy to pursue your own interests, while remaining part of the group. Program is well planned and organized by very capable leaders and instructors. A rich learning venue for those interested in wildflowers and wildlife in the middle of the Canadian Rockies.

Marilyn from Lansing, MI Number of programs attended: 6

A most enjoyable program. Well organized, educational and fun. Wildflowers and scenery are wonderful!
