ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Our trip was fabulous - well planned and well executed. And a great value. Our guides, Louis Bideau and Ilen were excellent.

Shalom Cuba is a fantastic program. We loved the opportunities to visit with members of the tiny but very vibrant Jewish communities. One caveat:The program iis really active - -very full days and evenings with limited opportunities to rest and recover. Tour director and Cuban guide were beyond wonderful.

This is a wonderful & meaningful program. We learned so much and saw so much. Road Scholar lectures and printed materials are so helpful.

It was my first experience wit Road Scholar. Cuba was fascinating. We were busy every minute. Our guides were wonderful ( yeraldine and hector )as we're the lectures we received in the mornings. There were 24 in our group and we all got along wonderfully. I'd love to visit Cuba again and will certainly recommend Road Scholar to my friends.

My week in Cuba was hot, hectic, tiring, and tremendously interesting. Bernardo was a wonderful group leader but the program was so full that I needed time to recuperate when I returned home. I learned that many Cubans barely get by and need help from relatives abroad. The Cuban economy and infrastructure need to grow and improve. The people were all wonderful. I just wish they could have what they deserve and need. The art and music are wonderful. Judaism exists and functions. The food isn't especially good but they provide the best they can for tourists. Cuba seems to me to be a beautiful country allowed to deteriorate. I hope the future brings improvements for the Cuban people. I have learned a lot on all the Road Scholar trips I have taken and always recommend them to friends.

This was my second Road Scholar trip. I plan to go on my third one this summer with my grandchild.
