ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Two and a half weeks is too short to Understand another culture, but this program surely makes a great effort and succeeds in making you think about that other culture differently.

We had a wonderful time in Morocco. The culture is so interesting and the various parts of the country so diverse. Loved the food too.

Morocco is a fabulous country. It is much more sophisticated and progressive than I every imagined. The guides and speakers were incredibly knowledgeable and the accommodation and food was wonderful.

I loved getting out of the big cities into the countryside and seeing the people. They were wonderfully welcoming even when we couldn't understand a word. Highlights: crossing the High-Atlas Mountains, seeing the 4 different climate zones, learning how Moroccans experience their faith. A disappointment was that we weren't free to wander in the old city medinas -- partly because it's easy to get lost in the maze-like alleyways.

It was a very interesting program and we learned a lot. Sometimes it was too difficult for some of the participants. Morocco is not prepared for people with handicaps so there are no handrails on the MANY rickety stairs we had to negotiate.

Great experience. It is a privilege to be able to immerse yourself in a culture for so many days. The lectures and meals at the Center for Cross Cultural Learning in Rabat were excellent introductions to the country before we started the actual journey around the country. The desert experience was memorable and magical. Our guides, Rachid and Ali, were the best. The group numbered just 12 and everyone was very congenial.

Our Road Scholar adventure to Morocco was our first organized travel trip, and it was everything we expected. The educational activities were excellent and only enhanced our visits to the sights of the country. The foods and various types of accommodations were so delicious and interesting. The sights, the food, the smells, and the interactions with the people were as delightful and intoxicating as we had expected. Thank you Road Scholar for a marvelous journey.

Good Job! I'd like to know whether Road Scholar has a Facebook connection through which we might share photos with other participants in our trip.

This trip was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The guides were knowledgeable, accommodating and fun! Great effort was taken to make all participants prepared and comfortable for the tours and travel. The bus rides were never too long or arduous, and the driver was careful and competent. This was our first organized tour, and we are now looking forward to many more Road Scholar trips. Thanks for a very special experience and for all the new friends we met on the Morroco trip.

This is an excellent program. The education component is outstanding. The guides, Rachid and Abdou, were not only knowledgable, but caring, friendly, candid and fun to be with. Morocco is an exciting country to visit. Much more diverse than I expected. I recommend it highly.

Morocco is an under appreciated destination for those who love the beautiful and exotic. This program was fabulous in its successful exploration of the sites, and especially the unique culture of Morocco. The guides were exceptional.

The trip was outstanding! It exceeded our expectations in many ways and gave us welcome insight into the Islamic world as well as the scenic beauty and culture of Morocco, the warmth of its people, and its many handcrafts.
