Flawless arrangements of a complex itinerary. Very glad we went. The small ship was delightful, but did roll & pitch. If you are sensitive to motion, you will definitely want something to help. I wore a seasick patch throughout, and had no trouble.

If you have always dreamed of visiting the Greek Isles, as I have, this is a great way to fulfill your dream. Our group of 18 fit together so well, led by the Greek expert and great person, Roula. I learned so much Greek history and had a fabulous time doing it!

I unequivocally recommend this in-depth exploration of Greece in Athens and from our small ship, the Galileo. Of particular interest to me was the intersection of myth and history. Our talented tour leader, Myrto, made these connections (and more!). Her insight, the breathtaking natural beauty of Greece, the fun and comfort of being on a small ship, and our delightful travel companions made this my favorite (so far) Road Scholar adventure.

"The grandeur that is Greece" manifests itself no matter what "twists and turns" tbe land of Odysseus offers the curious traveler. I heartily recommend this program. SMR

Terrific program for those who want to see and learn more about Greece and its history, culture, and points of interest. If you are tired of those 'big' ships, try the MS Galileo. The perfect trip to relax and enjoy.

This trip includes is a great short tour of Athens, and then a special tour of the Greek islands. The Galileo is the perfect size of ship for a Road Scholar small group trip and so much nicer than being on the floating city cruise ships. Myrto, our extremely knowledgeable guide, made the trip very special and informative. Swimming off the Galileo in clear blue waters of secluded beaches, the great food on the Galileo, and our very compatible group of Road Scholars were also highlights of the trip.

A wonderful combination of land and sea - experiencing the best of Athens, Delphi and area and sailing to visit the Cyclades islands.

Interested in sailing in a quaint, older, small ship through the the less visited Greek Isles? Jewels of the Cyclades is an adventure with a maximum of 46 passengers on the M/S Galileo, hearty and well-prepared cuisine, and an accommodating ship staff made this trip a unique experience.
