ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

This was the trip of a lifetime. The landscape, the light, the wildlife, and our phenomenal guide Benson Siyawareva made this an experience I will never forget. I learned more than I expected, saw far more wildlife than I had hoped for, and completely fell in love with Africa. What a dream come true.

We had a fantastic time. The lodges were great, the food was great and the best thing was the animals. I was never much interested in bird watching as I couldn't sit for hours to see a few birds. But the birds here were beautiful and we all around us. Benson, our guide, knew them all. His knowledge of birds, animals, and history made this an awesome trip. I loved it all and our group got along so well it was a great time. We spent two extra days in Joburg after the trip and went back to the Apartheid museum and also Constitution Hill (where the old prison is that housed Ghandi, Mandela, etc.) that was an eyeopener and worth going to. I can't say anything bad about this trip except I wish we had more time.

This program is outstanding. I highly recommend it. The guide for this program did a superb job. The visits to the museums were very informative. The experience of being on a game drive is incredible, even when the game decides not to appear!
If you are interested in birds you are in for a real treat. If your interest is in mammals, you will be rewarded with fascinating creatures. The visit to the local village provides insight into the lives of the people. The visit to Victoria Fall is the culmination of a wonderful experience.

This trip was one of the highlights of our travel-life! Our group was particularly in sync and we had a fantastic program director--Benson. Words cannot describe the beauty of southern Africa or the thrill and pleasure of seeing wild animals in their natural habitats. We found the program to be extremely educational and informative---so much more meaningful in its natural environment--what a classroom! More than once I found myself feeling as if I were standing in a National Geographic page! The people we met in each of the countries visited were friendly, kind and welcoming as a whole. The land itself is impressive in its beauty, starkness and variety. We feel privileged to have taken this journey. One of my long-held dreams was to see Victoria Falls, and even at the end of dry season, it did not disappoint.
Our accommodations were fabulous and there wasn't one meal less than terrific!I can't say enough good things about this wonderful trip!

One additional comment. Surely it wasn't necessary to have a 7.5 hour layover in J-burg on the trip home!!! That made it a 33 hour trip for us, door to door.
