Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

this program is a hard one to get to unless you are driving ! adds 100 + dollars to cost to get from airport to Warwick center and back to and from airport.

center was very nice--they had two buildings , we stayed in one and ate, watched TV, and had internet access in the other building. food was good. home cooking all the way !

program very nice. we had a big bus to take us on drive around the Hudson river and viewing and visiting the mansions there.

went in to NYC-2 days. did rockettes in the AM, free time to 7 pm afterwards. unfortunately we had down pour of rain that day and no place to go to get out of it. the bus was not picking us up till 7 PM>moral, take boots with you in the winter !! had 3 in of snow in warwick that am and RAIN all day in the city. not comfortable day.

more mansions next day, but a couple of us opted to skip and go back to NYC for a matinee that day. took commuter bus into NYC, picked up 2 half price ticket and were on our way to see WAR HORSE at Lincoln center. took bus back to Warwick in time for dinner.

back on bus next AM to city again, metropolitan museum until 3 pm and ballet at Lincoln center early that evening. very FULL days the whole trip.

i went a day early (sat), no car and no food- at center on weekends. another couple was there with car and went with them to village for dinner and breakfast
next day . center will take you to village for 5 dollars one way.

what i would do if i ever go back there, would be to stay in NYC afterwards for 2 or 3 days before coming home.
