What wonderful experiences my 9 year old grand niece and I had on this program!! Our group leader, Donna Fisher was terrific. It is very apparent that she loves children and loves this area of South Dakota. She was very knowledgeable and engaged both children (10 boys and 8 girls) and grandparents (23). I thoroughly enjoyed watching my grand niece experience new things and interact with new people. The nightly presenters were excellent and geared to the children without alienating the adults. Every day there were active things for the children to experience along with museum visits. This provided a great mix of experiences both fun and educational. The lodge is a great place to stay with the children. There is open space for them to run and play in the short amount of free time that we had. This is a very active program. We started our day with a 6 AM wake-up and bedtime was about 10:30. The food while not gourmet was certainly good. I highly recommend this program. My grand niece loved it and is looking forward to an Intergenerational program next year.
