this extension does give you more time in petra than the minerva trip it extends ...but really given what there is to see..and the travel to get to this amazing site..i would have enjoyed even more time...i did remain inside the site for the afternoon, into the dusk, (take your water, sunscreen, and a map of the site...have a plan...) consider riding a camel or mule to get the most mileage and elevation out of your day...an amazing finale to the minerva voyage...
