Lectures/educational content and for most part, value, were what I expect from Road Scholar. Paris overnighter, Monet's Garden, church in Rouen were wonderful. French food in Paris and Giverny were excellent (Monet's Salad--best ever!) Congrats to our Paris guide for an exacting palate and superb dining choices.
Joining on Seg II and III meant not bonding from the beginning with participants in Seg I. This was a negative departure from usual RS experience in that Seg I friendships and "cliques" had formed, and some did not want that disrupted nor changed. They were new to RS. However, others who were also RS first-timers did not know nor understand that lack of inclusion.
