This is a wonderful program with a good range of activities and lectures. Visiting the great camps and being able to stay at beautiful Sagamore was a real treat. Vegetarian food options are excellent, and the room comfortable. Good group of Road Scholars and a friendly knowledgeable staff made for a perfect trip.

Just want to mention that I received the materials when I returned home. I had asked not to get them on the internet because I was a recent victim of a scam. Also the directions were tricky.

Satisfied my interest in rustic furniture and Great Camps by attending annual Rustic Furniture Fair in Blue Mountain Lake followed by living @ Sagamore and visiting 2 other private Camps. What a treat-loved our first experience with Road Scholar.

The wilderness area is superb, educational lectures were very interesting and told in a captivating way. I have traveled throughout Europe, S. America and Africa and this is on par with any of my travels - and it's here in the U.S.! Highly recommend this for its beauty, restorative nature yet active enough that you look forward to each day!

Great program--informative talks and tours; by leaders passionate about their subjects; opportunity to be immersed in historic site, wonderful food. Many opportunities for hiking and boating on the lake. --Natalie, Long Island, NY

I would highly recommend participation in this program. Just the right amount of activity, learning, leisure and time to meet like minded people. Food tasty and healthy, accommodations were clean and comfortable. Best vacation I have ever taken!

The program was at a very scenic location. It was interesting learning about the Great Camps. The boat cruise on the last day was particularly fun, as was the opportunity to kayak/canoe during free time, the campfire on the final night, the musician and hiking. We really enjoyed the meals....great vegetarian options. As always, it was fun meeting other participants...nice and interesting people. Black flies bothered us (springtime), but I understand that's not a problem the rest of the year.

I was thoroughly happy with my time at the Great Camps. I'm so glad I took part. I learned more than I expected to.
