Reviews, photos and videos for program: Canoe and Hike in Wisconsin's Northwoods
Carol from Spring Arbor, MI Number of programs attended: 1
Date attended: 07/27/14 - 08/02/14
Delightful combination of land and water activities in a beautiful area. High quality program and leaders that made it enjoyable to learn about local flora and fauna and be active in the outdoors. Don't expect luxurious accommodations or gourmet meals in the camp, but they'll do their best to provide a variety of food choices and the basics. Activities involve some trips of up to 2 hours, mostly in vans with comfortable seats, and perhaps shorter rides on a less comfortable school bus. Activity level that is as described, with some accommodation in the choice of hikes for those who may not be up to longer treks on rough terrain. Hiking pole is recommended for the Provolone Mountains.
