One day was more exciting than the next!! Wonderful scenery, knowledgeable naturalists whose love for nature was contagious, beautiful Lindblad Sea Bird with a terrific crew! Loved every minute of it.

Visiting Alaska in a small ship with a joyful crew and multiple learned and enthusiastic naturalists was a sublime adventure. From the first cup of coffee in the morning to the evening lectures and videos of the life beneath us, each day was an absolute treasure. The officers and crew were uniformly cordial and helpful, and I cannot think of anything that was NOT done to optimize our experience. All of the naturalists aboard had substantial experience and broad expertise, but each also had his or her forte and they complimented each other seamlessly. As an amateur photographer, I was thrilled to catch so many pearls that the pros were happy to cast about, and there was not one lecture that was redundant, superfluous, or that was not expertly delivered. Combine all of that with a group of accomplished and interesting guests, an expert chef and jaw-dropping scenery and the resulting experience was unparalleled. "10" doesn't begin to cover it ... and it was worth every penny.

A most menorable trip - Two items from my bucket list can be checked off: seeing up close a calving glacier,
and kayaking in Alaskian waters!

This trip was a wonderful way to connect to nature and see the beauty of untouched landscapes. All of the trip participants were fully engaged and were fun fellow adventurers. I learned alot from the onboard naturalists, which added to the great trip experience. Well done Road Scholar. And when they tell you that waterproof boots are essential, believe them:)

The expedition on the Lindblad Sea Bird was an extraordinary opportunity to visit and learn about a remote part of my world. I was able to see the birds, animals, plants, geology, through the eyes of National Geographic's expert naturalists and photographer who were most gifted in sharing information. What a fabulous experience!
