Wonderful place, instructors outstanding, small friendly group, lots of good baked breads to try. HIGHLY recommend if you love to bake. Learned a lot of new tips even after baking for 40 years.

This is a "must do" program for anyone who likes to bake or wants to learn. There were other wonderful things, too--this group connected, thanks to Mary Lind. Besides baking, I learned about food science, mushrooms, heritage cornmeals, milling lumber, maple syrup, sous vide, canning and freezing from the garden and much, much more---ALL from the other participants. FANTASTIC instructor. This is a not to be missed program.

Whether you have baked bread all your life or want to learn you can't go wrong with this program. Experienced and delightful instructors made the classroom fun. Sharing new techniques and experiences with classmates is the key to enjoying this class. And you can't forget all the different breads you will be able to make and sample. Bring loose pants!

If you're looking for a most excellent survey class of baked goods, you'll find it here. The class covers far more than the "salt risin' bread" of the title. All in all, our group of 11 produced 60 different bread products and used 100 pounds of flour in the process. There's a clear emphasis on using healthy whole grains.
