Reviews, photos and videos for program: The Virginia International Tattoo at the Virginia Arts Festival

Farming out the leadership of a program in Norfolk to a Vermont travel agency I like a Norfolk resident conducting a Fall trip to Vermont. The leaders were helpful and efficient but without local knowledge.

The Virginia International Tattoo at the Virginia Arts Festival was most informative. The attendance at the Tattoo was worth the whole trip. It was very impressive.

I've attended Tattoos in Edinburgh, Halifax, Dunedin, and now Norfolk. This tattoo was a very fast moving two hours of utter delight!

It was a great program and I may return next year. A suggestion: The Tattoo back-stage tour would have been more meaningful if we did it after we had seen the Tattoo, that is the next day. We would then know what questions to ask. The hotel location was superb. We had a room with a great view of the harbor. Many of us resented the $9.95 per day charge for in-room wi-fi, but I take it that is a common practice among business oriented hotels. Sharon was a great leader, who never lost her cool under some challenging circumstances.

This program was busy & interesting. Sharon did a wonderful job of organizing everything for such a large group. The Tattoo was totally awesome & the "behind the scenes" tour added to the experience. I was disappointed that the Chrysler was closed but MOCA was a pleasant substitute that led to some time along the beach.
