Sun Mountain Lodge was a beautiful, comfortable place for this program in a scenic area of Washington. We had some delightful, informative lectures. Program would be better described as "How Nature Works" rather than "wildflowers, bird songs and butterflies" as this is still early spring in the Methow Valley and there were very few butterflies, minimal birds and some wildflowers but not in abundance.
The naturalist. Dana, was very adept in "connecting the dots" between different fields of biology, ecology, natural history, etc. Hank, whose topic was "History in Story and Song", was very entertaining and certainly knew a lot of history which he enlivened with his singing. All in all a good program.
