While Camp Sagamore was an excellent place to stay, so interesting, with a terrific, informative staff, the birding certainly did not meet expectations.

Experienced a lot of first sightings during this program, mostly warblers and flycatchers. The guide was very knowledgable but focused a little too much on birding by ear for me. I'm pretty tone deaf and I'm much more interested in seeing the birds than distinguishing their calls. Nevertheless, I was more than pleased with my sightings. Sagamore is a wonderful place. Clean and comfortable accomodations, gorgeous location, lots of history behind it, great staff and delicious food. I loved that it is secluded and remote, very peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely return to Sagamore for another program.
