Reviews, photos and videos for program: Exploring Unusual Cities: A Touch of History, a Taste of Utopia

This program is fantastic and is a perfect example of what Lifelong Learning is all about. I learned more in this week long activity than I did in some 3 hour college classes. Each of the five communities has a most interesting history. Our leader, Diane, is excellent--I cannot think of anyone else who is better prepared than she is. She truly makes each hour of each day come alive. The small number of participants was nice--I was able to get to know each one on an individual basis.

This program was well organized and exceptionally interesting. It gave you an insight into different religions, as well as the semi-religious Transcendental Meditation. It gave me a glimpse into a different part of the US.

What a delight to have Diane Van Wyngarden as a group leader! She leaves "no stone unturned" and is a master of organization in just the right way!
