Reviews, photos and videos for program: Dia De Los Muertos in Oaxaca

My first Road Scholar trip was thoroughly enjoyable. The cemeteries we visited gave us a sample of how the spirits of the dead are kept as part of the family and it was fascinating to see how the graves were decorated. The visits to the various Aztec ruins gave a very adequate picture of a quite highly developed culture. It was lovely to meet so many friendly fellow participants who definitely encouraged me if I was flagging a little! Far too much interesting food in already chosen restaurants made feeding the inner woman too easy! Now how do I choose the next trip?!!!

Fascinating Day of the Dead activities in a well-paced program that also featured good Mexican regional food. One of the best RS programs I have attended.
